Grillion Electric Grill Brush Review: A High-Performance Cleaning Tool

Grilling is fun. Cleaning it after? Not so much. If you grill regularly, you already know how it goes. The food is great, everyone’s enjoying, and then once it’s all done, you’re left with a greasy, burnt, messy grill that no one wants to deal with. That’s exactly where I was. And honestly, I used to just accept that cleaning the grill would always be annoying. Scrubbing hard, going over the same spots again and again, dealing with grease that just doesn’t want to come off—it’s tiring.

So this time, I decided to try something different. I had the Grillion Electric Grill Brush with me, and I wanted to see if it actually makes cleaning easier—or if it’s just another device that sounds better than it performs.

First Impressions

Right out of the box, the first thing I noticed is that it feels like a complete setup. It’s not just the brush, and that’s it. You get the main motorized handle, two different brush heads, a USB-C charging cable, a soap dispenser bottle, and even a storage case to keep everything organized. That might not sound like a big deal, but it actually makes a difference. It feels like something you’ll keep using regularly, not just try once and forget about.

The handle itself is cordless, which already makes things easier. No cables hanging around, no need to stay near a power outlet—you can just pick it up and start cleaning. The soap dispenser, which I didn’t think much of at first. It sounded like a nice extra, but not something I’d rely on. Turns out, I underestimated that part.

Putting It to the Test

I tested it after a full BBQ session—chicken, beef, sausages, a bit of everything. The grill was still warm and covered in all the usual mess, grease, burnt bits, sticky residue. Basically, the kind of grill that normally takes effort to clean.

Usually, this is where I mentally prepare myself for a bit of a struggle. Grab the brush, press down hard, go back and forth, repeat the same motion until things start coming off. This time, I just turned the Grillion on and placed it on the grill. And immediately, it felt different.

You’re Not Scrubbing Anymore

The brush starts spinning at a solid speed, and instead of pushing hard, you’re just guiding it across the surface. That’s probably the biggest change. You’re not scrubbing—you’re letting the tool do the work. As I moved it across the grill, I could see it gradually breaking down the burnt residue.

Not instantly, not aggressively—but steadily and consistently. And that consistency is what makes it effective. Instead of going over the same spot five or six times with force, you just move across it naturally, and it clears up faster than you expect.

Cleaning Performance

What I liked most is that it doesn’t feel too aggressive. Sometimes, with powerful tools, you worry about damaging the surface or losing control. That’s not the case here. It feels controlled. The motor gives it enough power to handle tough residue, but it’s not overwhelming.

You still feel in control the entire time. And because of that, cleaning feels more predictable. You’re not guessing how much pressure to apply. You’re not adjusting constantly. You just move it across the grill, and it does its job.

Brush Heads

This device comes with two types of brushes designed to handle different cleaning needs: a chain brush and a wire brush.
For everyday use, the chain brush works great for surface-level cleaning and will take care of most of the grease and residue with minimal effort. Also, with the chain brush, you can scrub away with total peace of mind — no loose bristles means no unwanted surprises ending up on your plate during your next cookout. When you’re dealing with tougher spots—like the inside of the grill or areas with heavy buildup—you can switch to the wire brush for a deeper, more thorough clean.
Also, both brushes can be purchased as a set, meaning if your brushes gets lost or worn out, you can easily replace just that piece without having to buy the whole set all over again.

The Soap Dispenser

This is one of those features that sounds minor but makes a noticeable difference in real use. Normally, cleaning a grill involves a bit of a stop-and-go process. You scrub, then stop to apply soap or cleaner, then go back to scrubbing. With this, the soap is built into the handle. So instead of stopping, you just keep going. The soap gets applied as you clean, helping break down grease while the brush is doing its job. It makes the whole process feel more fluid and less interrupted. It’s a small detail—but when you’re standing outside and just want to finish cleaning quickly, it actually matters.

Effort and Fatigue

This is probably the biggest difference overall. With a manual brush, you’re constantly applying pressure. Your hand and wrist start to feel it, especially if the grill is really dirty. After a while, it becomes tiring and a bit frustrating. With this, you’re not putting in that effort. You’re just holding the tool and guiding it. Even after cleaning the whole grill, I didn’t feel that usual fatigue. It just felt easier from start to finish.

Battery Life and Charging

Battery performance has been solid. I’ve used it across multiple cleaning sessions without needing to recharge immediately, which is exactly what you want. It holds enough power to get through proper cleaning without cutting out halfway. And charging is straightforward. Since it uses USB-C, you can plug it into pretty much anything—wall adapter, power bank, or even a car charger. That flexibility makes it easy to keep it ready without needing anything special.

Final Thoughts

After using Grillion Electric Grill Brush properly, I realized something simple. Cleaning the grill doesn’t have to be the worst part anymore. This doesn’t completely eliminate the need to clean—but it makes the process faster, easier, and a lot less frustrating. If you grill often—especially for longer sessions or outdoor gatherings—this makes a real difference. It saves time. It reduces effort. And it makes cleaning feel like less of a chore. And once you get used to that, going back to a manual brush just doesn’t feel necessary anymore.
